Abstract
Maternal controlling feeding practices have negative outcomes. Less research has explored fathers' feeding practices or the coparenting feeding relationship. Our data suggest that fathers' use of restriction during childhood can have long-term impact on college students' body image and problematic dieting behaviors, and supportive coparenting relationships can be protective.
