Cardiac Vagal Tone Modulates the Effect of Framing on Moral Judgement.

The current experiment examined whether cardiac vagal tone would modulate the effect of a subtle instruction manipulation on moral judgment. The result showed that higher cardiac vagal tone-indexed by heart rate variability (HRV)-was positively correlated with a higher preference for utilitarian options on high-conflict dilemma in a thoughtful instruction condition.
