Abstract
Before COVID-19, one study (n=501) showed an underestimation of the importance of social connectedness for health outcomes, compared to established behavioral factors (smoking, obesity, exercise, etc.). We repeated the survey with healthcare providers (n = 214) in 2022/3 and found that US healthcare providers also underestimate social connectedness.
