Boredom Proneness and Interoception: A Novel Finding Linking Affective Regulation to Trait Boredom

Abstract
We investigated the connection between boredom proneness (BP) and interoceptive processing using a range of surveys. Results suggested that boredom prone individuals are hyperaware of their internal states, in the context of only moderate interoceptive accuracy. Results are discussed in relation to affective regulation.
