Mothers' household responsibilities in dual-parent households impact their well-being and familial relationships. 104 mothers reported levels of household responsibility, individual annual income, feelings of emptiness, depression, anxiety, and partner satisfaction. Mothers with greater household responsibilities reported higher levels of emptiness and depression, and lower partner satisfaction, regardless of individual income.
