Abstract
Bollen argues that the evaluation of items as causal or effect indicators in vanishing tetrad analysis should be confirmatory. Using data collected from patients and clinicians about whether symptoms are the cause or the result of patient's distress we will form and evaluate tetrads of causal and or effect indictors.
