Intuitive Judgements of Gestalts Are Not Influenced By Stimuli Difficulty.

Abstract
Participants were shown two fragments of the same photo (coherent vs scrambled) and asked to identify the photographed object. There were three difficulty levels. Even when participants could not identify the object, they selected the coherent photo at above chance levels. Intuition was not significantly influenced by stimuli difficulty.
