Abstract
Social threat hypervigilance (STH) is hypothesized to be among mechanisms linking loneliness and health outcomes. We observed association between loneliness and self-report, but not explicit (morph-ratings) nor implicit (face-in-the-crowd) measures of STH in 356 healthy individuals, thus suggesting that this effect may be overestimated due to the common method bias
