Evaluating Gender Differences in Jury Decision Making in an Ambiguous Sexually Violent Predator Trial

Abstract
The present study aimed to investigate which variables different genders found most influential for jury decision making in sexually violent predator cases. Results indicated that there were differences between men and women on what factors influenced their decisions most, specifically victim gender, risk assessments, and mental abnormality diagnosis.
