Who Do You Trust: High Trust and Stress Towards Asian Americans Using a Virtual Reality Method

This study examined the effects of meditation on trustworthiness towards White and Asians using VR. Participants reported higher levels of trustworthiness towards Asians and stress, while interacting with Asians, was related to greater levels of trust. These findings are interpreted by intergroup contact theory, cognitive load, and model minority myth.
