Effects of COVID-19-Related Discrimination on Mental Health Problems and Psychosocial Well-Being in Asian International & Asian American Students

This study examined associations of COVID-19-related discrimination with mental health symptoms among Asian international and Asian American college students. Findings demonstrated significant associations between experiencing and witnessing discrimination and greater mental health problems and poorer psychosocial well-being. We found significant interactions, with associations being stronger for international (vs. domestic) students.
