Longitudinal Associations between Sleep Hygiene Internalizing and Externalizing Behaviors

Data in this presentation come from a longitudinal study on sleep and substance use in children. We examined the longitudinal relationships between healthy sleep habits, sleep hygiene, and child behavior problems of internalizing and externalizing. We show that better sleep hygiene predicts fewer internalizing and externalizing behaviors in children.
