Abstract
Long-term physical or mental health issues vary in impact to the life experiences of those affected. The present study examined the social, family, and romantic loneliness of individuals with chronic illnesses accounting for chronic-illness self-efficacy. Results show a strong association between chronic mental illnesses and social and family loneliness.
