Abstract

The effects of introversion-extraversion (differences in cortical arousal) on proactive interference and release from PI were examined. Typical PI and release from PI results were found, but there were no significant interactions between type of processing or trials and introversion-extraversion. Future studies might include a manipulation of arousal.
