Abstract

We tested whether Empathic Concern predicted Environmental Intentions via mediators Connection to Nature, Dispositional Empathy for Nature, and Environmental Values. Results indicated no direct path and three indirect paths. All indirect paths included Connection to Nature. One indirect path also included Empathy for Nature and another Environmental Values.
