Just Quit: An Analysis of Learning Cessation and Its Effects on Academic Performance

Abstract
This study examined individual differences in learning acquisition and cessation related to academic factors. Individuals' acquisition and cessation performances were classified as fast or slow. These classifications were analyzed in relation to academic factors, with fast quitting predicting higher and lower ACT scores in the solvable and unsolvable problems, respectively.
