How Adults' Word Retrieval Problems Relate to Speech Fluency Measures

Abstract
As part of a larger study, adults ages 18 to 80 performed word retrieval and picture description tasks. Increased age was associated with increased correct word retrieval, as well as some but not all speech fluency outcomes. Possible reasons for the obtained patterns are discussed.
