Abstract
Using data from the 2016 and 2019 iterations of the Minnesota Student Survey (MSS), we found that greater perceived social support predicted lower rates of depression among foster youth and found mixed evidence regarding whether LGBTQ+ status or its interaction with social support was linked to depression within the sample.
