Motivation Regulation Using People Associated with "Content": Japanese People Motivate Themselves By Watching Their Idols Work Hard

This study examined the role played by people associated with "content", such as Japanese idols, musicians, or distributors, in motivational adjustment. The results showed that Japanese idols motivate university students not only by uplifting their spirits but also by showing them their own efforts.
