Whether narcissism differs by age, gender, and social class has generated much discussion, despite most research being conducted within the US. Pooled estimates of demographic differences in narcissism (N=45,872 from 53 countries) were consistent with previous research. However, the effects were heterogeneous—in terms of magnitude, significance, and even direction.
