Positive Gender Identity Moderates the Impact of Stereotype Threat on Women Leaders' Identity Separation

This study examined identity separation in response to stereotype threat, and the moderating role of women leaders' positive gender identity. Results showed that positive gender identity reduced identity separation, and moderated the effect of stereotype threat; the more positive a woman's gender identity is, the more stereotype reactance is demonstrated
