Abstract
We examined how stimulus relatedness and group reconfiguration moderate the extent to which former collaborators employ similar retrieval strategies (collective retrieval organization). We find that collaborative recall promotes downstream collective retrieval organization even when stimuli are semantically unrelated and when groups are reconfigured from one recall to the next.
