Earned Interest: Behavior Surrounding Wealth Disparities in a Public Goods Game

We investigated whether behavior in a public goods game involving wealth disparity, an indirect contribution game, shows the same inequality-aversion previously seen in direct contribution games. Participants contributed more to the public good when all players were wealthy, behavior not predicted by inequality aversion. Reasons for this discrepancy are discussed.
