An Active Shooter Training Video Is Effective in Terms of Reactions, Learning, and Behavior

Although organizations use active shooter training videos to prepare for active shooter events, their effectiveness is largely unknown. Effectiveness of the widely-used Avoid Deny Defend active shooter training video was evaluated. A pretest and immediate and delayed posttest design supported its effectiveness in terms of reactions, learning, and behavior criteria.
