Motives for Simultaneous Alcohol and Marijuana Use Among Racially Diverse Young Adults

The goal was to compare young adults' willingness to engage in SAM use in response to positive emotions (i.e., excited) compared to negative emotions (i.e., anxiety). Regardless of self-identified race, willingness to engage in SAM use was highest when young adults imagined feeling confident or affect-neutral compared to feeling anxious.
