"OK Boomer": Identifying Ideological Sources of Anti-Elderly Attitudes Among Young Liberals

Abstract
Explicit pro-young/anti-old attitudes have been increasing in bias since 2016, especially among young liberals. Why? Across three studies, we identify "OK Boomer" beliefs (older people, especially older conservatives, are out-of-touch and in-the-way of social change) as ideological roots of younger liberals' anti-elderly attitudes. Results can inform demographic-targeted interventions against ageism.
