Emotional Faces Modulates Spatial Distribution of Attention

Abstract
The present study investigated the effects of emotion on spatial distribution of attention by using Fenske and Eastwood's (2003) emotional flanker task. Moreover, the distance between the target and the distractor was manipulated. The results suggested that a positive target could broaden the spatial extent of attention.
