Avoidance Behaviors and Academic Goal Adjustment

Abstract
Using a sample of 564 undergraduate students, the proposed study will test the longitudinal relationship between midterm exam performances, performance satisfaction, and goal adjustment, and how time spent engaging in different avoidant behaviors moderates this relationship. It is expected that different avoidance behaviors will affect student goal adjustment.
