Abstract

This study examined whether agentic and communal social interaction styles differentially impact how males and females approach team sports competition. Participants provided answers to hypothetical scenarios common to team sports. Findings supported the idea that gender-related styles may impact how males and females interpret the dynamic of team sports competition.
