Will You Hire Me? Candidate Selection and the Decoy Effect

During the hiring process, decision-makers are confronted with choices among multiple candidates based on various pieces of data (e.g., scores, relevant past experiences, skills). To examine this phenomenon, we explored the impact of gender and asymmetric dominance on candidate selection. Results and implications are discussed.
