Abstract
The current research examined the implications of primal world beliefs for mental simulation of future relationship events and romantic relationship quality. Perceiving the world as enticing predicted simulating a future characterized by partner acceptance, which predicted greater perceived partner responsiveness, satisfaction, and commitment.
