Abstract
Parent-child relationship factors may predict discrepancies between parent and child reports of children's mental health symptoms. This study examines informant discrepancies among families of ten-year-old children with and without exposure to maltreatment-related risk. Maltreatment-related risk and lower attachment security predicted greater informant discrepancies, highlighting the need for multi-informant clinical assessment.
