Abstract

Women with situational incontinence (SI), a form of urinary urgency incontinence (UUI), experience increased urgency and leakage when exposed to personal "urge" versus "safe" cues. New methods combining brief mindfulness and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) show promise for attenuating reactivity to personal urgency cues in older women with SI.
