Abstract

Although ego depletion is shown to influence risk taking, it is less clear whether it causes risk seeking or risk avoiding behavior. The present study was designed to explore the effect of ego depletion and negative affect on risk taking behavior using the Balloon Analogue Risk Task (BART).
