How Concerns about Physical Harm and Law Enforcement Repercussions Impact Black and White Students' Willingness to Intervene in Intimate Partner Violence Scenarios

The study assessed the influence of race on bystander concern of harm and negative repercussions from law enforcement. White and Black participants reported more concern for physical harm if the couple implicated in the physical IPV scenario was Black. Black participants reported more concern of negative repercussions from law enforcement.
