Abstract

The relationship between violent crime and the effectiveness of completing a mindfulness program on emotion regulation was examined. No significant differences in emotion regulation between groups pre- or post-mindfulness intervention were found. Emotion regulation skills in violent inmates did not significantly differ from those of inmates charged with different crimes.
