Gender Segregation in College Students: Links to Rape Myth Acceptance and Gender Stereotypical Roles and Traits

This research tests a structural equation model of associations among college students' gender-segregated peer groups, acceptance of rape myths, and conformity to gender-typed traits and roles. Overreliance on a single-item measure of gender segregation in prior research is addressed by using a gender segregation latent variable defined by three measures.
