A Review and Meta-Analysis of Self- and Other- Reported Psychopathic Traits and Their Association with Negative Outcomes

This meta-analysis found a moderate overall relationship between child psychopathy and negative outcomes in a sample of multi-informant studies, with a stronger-but not substantive-association emerging for other- relative to self-reported psychopathy. Results also showed the magnitude of the psychopathy-negative outcomes association was greater for externalizing than internalizing outcomes.
