Historical and Epistemological Roots of Double Standards of Western Countries in Confronting "Refugees"

While Ukrainian refugees have been welcomed by EU member, situation for refugees from non-European nations was completely different. Using semi-structured interviews with immigrants in the US., this study investigates the epistemological roots of "the double standardization of refugees", the definition of "Refugee" and its relationship to "non-whiteness" and racial discrimination.
