Abstract
We examined the developmental trajectory of children's (longitudinal: 2-12 years old) inclusion of temporal and spatial details in their autobiographical memory narratives, and whether early conversations with mothers predicted children's later independent narratives. We found a steeper developmental trajectory (and stronger early mother influences) for temporal compared to spatial details.
