Abstract

Interpersonal trauma exposure was associated with greater depressive symptoms in adolescents (N=201). Neurophysiological responses moderated the association, such that the combination of blunted responses to pleasant interpersonal images and exposure to interpersonal trauma was associated with the greatest symptoms. Results elucidate a potential vulnerability linking trauma exposure to depression risk.
