Factors Deterring Face Mask Use in Young Adults

Abstract
Data collected between December 2021and December 2022 shows a relationship between younger adult age and more negative perceptions of wearing a face mask in public. Results highlight COVID-associated distress and prosocial behavior as also potentially playing roles in face mask use.
