Abstract

A three-wave measurement-burst study spanning 6 months found within-person cross-lagged associations between positive/negative affect in intense emotion events and authenticity at both trait and daily level. Cross-lagged coefficients of affect predicting trait were greater than vice versa. Indirect effects through commitment to future plans were found.
