Relationship between Adverse Childhood Experiences and Vasomotor Symptoms during the Menopausal Transition

Most women undergoing menopause experience vasomotor symptoms (VMS). Studies indicate adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are associated with an increased likelihood of experiencing VMS in menopause. This present study extends these findings to examine the extent to which ACEs predict VMS versus non-VMS physiological symptoms.
