Perceived Social Support and Life Satisfaction during the COVID-19 Home Confinement: A Moderated Mediation Model of Self-Construal and Online Prosocial Behavior

This study found that college students' perceived social support would enhance online prosocial behavior which in turn improved their life satisfaction during COIVD-19 home confinement. Additionally, for those who emphasize independent self, engaging in Internet altruistic behaviors while experiencing physical distancing would contribute to a more positive perception of life.
