Emotion Regulation Strategy Is Associated with Autonomic Regulation in a Transdiagnostic Sample

Abstract
The current study examined relations between self-reported emotion regulation strategies and cardiovascular measures of autonomic regulation in a mood and anxiety disorder sample. Emotion regulation strategy was associated with autonomic regulation, such that those with the highest levels of emotional and physiological dysregulation endorsed lower levels of cognitive reappraisal.
