Abstract

Using Social Dominance Theory as an explanatory framework, this study assessed the relationship between undergraduate students' political/religious beliefs and their discomfort in expressing opinions in the classroom (n = 533). Results are discussed and suggest the current campus climate may be inhibiting the contribution of students with diverse philosophical viewpoints.
