Abstract

This study examined the predictive power of academic motivation on college GPA. It was predicted that effects of academic motivation on GPA would no longer be maintained after controlling for variance shared with conscientiousness. Results indicate the predictive power of academic achievement motivation is partly attributable to conscientiousness.
