Abstract

Gender-based price discrimination ("The Pink Tax") is an economic bias levied on feminine-marketed products. This study found no difference in 147 teenage girls' knowledge of GPD by high school type. However, internalized sexism and masculinity/femininity index were predictive of tendency to choose feminine-advertised products. Limitations and implications are discussed
