Abstract
Conceptions of individual and social mobility were hypothesized to be related to predictions of national wealth distribution. Surveying a sample of young adults, the relationships between individual and societal social mobility were significantly related to participants' explanations for wealth attainment as stemming from individual (not structural) factors.
